BWPS Whitewater Kayaking/Waterfall Photo Field Trip

At the end of April the BWPS had a field trip to Jamaica, Vermont to photograph white water kayakers, canoeists, and rafters taking advantage of the annual spring dam release on the West River (there won't be another release now until the fall). Eleven of us, including family members, enjoyed a pleasant hike followed by front-row seats to the action.

After freezing the white water action with high shutter speeds, we drove over to Hamilton Falls, and experimented with slow shutter speeds (and a neutral-density filter) to blur the action.
