BWPS News ArchiveBack to News ArchiveBWPS Takes First Place in the Fall NECCC Nature Competition
The first of three New England Camera Club Council Nature Interclub competitions of the season was held October 27th at Beal College and hosted by the Eastern Maine Camera Club. The judges were Lois Davis, Professor Ron Davis, and Diana Porter. With 104 points Boston West PS finished in 1st place out of 14 clubs in Class A. Greater Lynn Photographic Association was not far behind with 102 points, and 3rd place was taken was Springfield PS with 95 points. Our own Ed McGuirk had the highest scoring slide for his Pair of Foxes, which earned 28 points and First Place. Mike Goodman received 26 points and an honorable mention for his slide Dallas Divide Morning. Our other two entries were also highly placed. Congratulations to ALL the entrants!
