Next BWPS Competition 11/15/2006 Features Class B Critique Program

In response to a recent member survey, BWPS has restructured competition nights to accomplish two additional goals. First, we wanted to have digital and slide competitions together on the same evening. Second, we wanted to provide more opportunity for Class B members to receive "professional" input regarding their digital images. To meet this second goal, BWPS has instituted three "Critique" programs for Class B makers. The first Critique program will be held as part of the next competition night on Wednesday, November 15, starting at 7:30 pm.

Class B digital makers are allowed to submit 2 images each via the usual digital submission process. The judge, Ray Guillette, will offer extensive comments on these Class B images, but there will be no judging of Class B images. The intent of the comments is to offer an experienced judges' detailed suggestions for why the images work, or how they might be changed to work better. With the addition of the Critique programs, Class B makers have either a critique or a competition program every month of this season.

Following the Class B Critique program, there will be a regular competition for Class A digital and Class AA slide makers.
