2009 Images of the Year
PSA Nature Image of the Year
The judging for the PSA Nature Division Image of the Year Competition took
place at Merrimack Valley Camera Club in North Andover, MA. The judges were
Tom Briere, Paul Buckley and Henry Weisenburger.
There were thirty one clubs that participated in the PSA Nature Competition
this year. All individual club members who earned an Award of Merit ribbon
in one of the season’s three competitions were eligible for the annual
Image of the Year Competition. Individual Award of Merit ribbons are awarded
for the five highest individual scores given to images in each class of each
contest.
The judges took many rounds of “In and Out” judging which it
was by no means an easy or quick decision to make. After carefully consideration
of all eligible images, the judges chose Frank Forward’s image Albino
Tree Frog 1 as the PSA Nature Image of the Year.
Congratulations Frank on receiving this distinctive award.
