2010-2011 NECCC Interclub Results
Pictorial Electronic Competition
Fall 2010
The Fall competition was held on November 3, 2010, hosted
by the Greater Bridgeport Camera Club . With 14 clubs competing
in Class A, Boston West Photographic Society came in sixth
place with 87 points. This was a somewhat disappointing start
of us this year, but we still have two competitions in which
to make up ground. First Place went to Charter Oak Photographic
Society with 95 points, and Second Place was tied between
Greater Lynn and New Haven at 93 points.
Congratulations to Jim Brady for his 24 point image Steer
Wrestling which earned him an Honorable Mention and to Chris
Wraight for his 23 point image Saved a Run.

Winter 2011
The Winter competition was held on February 7, 2011, hosted
by the Greater Lynn Photographic
Association. Forty clubs competed in Pictorial, 14 of them
in Class A. Boston West Photographic
Society tied for First Place with Merrimack Valley Camera Club,
each earning 100 points. Third Place
went to the Photographic Society of Rhode Island with 97 points.
Cumulative standings for the year have us in a three-way tie
for Second Place with Photographic
Society of Rhode Island and Greater Lynn Photographic Association
with 187 points each. Ahead of us
by two points is Merrimack Valley Camera Club with 189.
Congratulations to Mike Goodman for his perfect scoring Snowmobilers
Five which took first place in
the competition. Three judges each score 3 to 9 points, so a
perfect score is 27. Congratulations also to
Chris Wraight for his 26 point, second place image Adrian Beltre
Guards the Line and Ron Todd for
his 25 point Honorable Mention image Snocross 101a.

Spring 2011
The Spring competition is the final competition of the season
and Boston West Photographic Society has won First Place in
Class A! The judging was hosted by the Camera Club of Central
New England on April 7, 2011. 14 clubs competed in Class A,
and Boston West finished in first place with 90 points. This
was two points ahead of Second Place New Haven CC. Third Place
went to Gateway with 87 points.
In the final standings the top three clubs in Class A are:
Boston West First Place with 277 points, Merrimack Valley
Second Place 275, and Greater Lynn Third Place 273.
Congratulations, Boston West Photographic Society on a great
showing in this year's NECCC interclub competitions! And a big
thank you again to all the members who allowed us to use their
images to represent the club.
