October 2008The judging for Competition #! Of the PSA Nature Division Competition was held by the Unlimited Visions Photo Club of Waukesha Wisconsin. Ed McGuirk received an HM for his image Golden Eagle Kill. Boston West only received 59 points in this round which put us in a tie for eighth place with St. Louis CC and Saguaro CC. The 2 nd Competition will be in February 2009. Class A October Rankings

February 2009The judging for the 2nd PSA Nature Division Competition was held by the St Louis Camera Club of St. Louis, Missouri. Boston West came in 3 rd for this competition with a score of 81 points. Camera Naturalist Camera Club came in 1 st with a score of 83 points. Garden State Six Shooters tied with Mount Baker Camera Club for 2 nd place with a score of 82 points. Congratulations to Donna Salett for receiving an HM for her image Wet’N’Wild and Ed McGuirk for receiving an HM for his image Loon Feeding.

May 2009The judging for the PSA third Nature Competition was held by the Merrimack Valley Camera Club of North Andover, MA. Thirty one clubs participated this season. Boston West tied for first place with Camera Naturalist Camera Club with a score of 74 points. Congratulations to Frank Forward for receiving an Award of Merit for his image Albino Tree Frog 1 and an Honorable Mention for his image Red Fox Pheasant Chase. Congratulations to Ed McGuirk for receiving an Award of Merit for his image Grizzly Dental Exam and an Honorable Mention for his image Loon with Riding Chick. Boston West took a second place finish for the season with a score of 214 points. Camera Naturalist Camera Club came in first place with 225 points and Garden State Six Shooters placed third with 212 points.
