receive that score. Congratulations to Ian Dicker for earning
an Honorable Mention for his 24 point image Storm at Sea.
And congratulations also to Maggie Hsu for her first place

Winter 2009
The Winter competition was held on February 18, 2009, hosted by the Southeast Connecticut Camera Club. 35 clubs competed in Pictorial and Boston West Photographic Society won First Place. Our 85 points was two points ahead of second place Bridgeport Camera Club.
This was a very low scoring competition and we were disappointed that Ian’s Portland Sunrise, which won the Seascape Medal at the recent Greater Lynn International Salon, only received 18 points in this competition.
Congratulations to Ed McGuirk on his First Place image I
Wanna Be a Cowboy. Ed 's image received 26 points and was
one of four to receive that score. However Ed's image was chosen
as the one to be printed in the NECCC Bulletin, so it was essentially
deemed the Best in Show. Congratulations also to Elyssa Conley
for earning an Honorable Mention for her 21 point image Trees
in the Mist. And congratulations also to Jim Brady for
his Honorable Mention Emma 02.
Ed has now won First Place in the two competitions so far this year. Let’s see if he can make it 3 for 3 with the upcoming Spring competition!
